Just Bought 01 Ram Air

I just bought me a 01 TA Ram Air to go with my 95 Z, and I was wandering if there is any trouble areas to checkout or look for on these cars? Thanks

check for piston slap (not a big deal but annoying), check the window motors, oil consumption on some ls1's sucks, literally, the rear end is a trouble spot too. if its a manual check the 2-3 shift and the 3-4, if its easy to put in and never grinds your good to go. cant really think of anything else. have fun with it and be safe.

So whats wrong if it does grind occasionsally in those gears?

usually a bent shift fork. not a big deal but can turn into one quickly.

Yes watch out for the "normal" piston slap on LS1s. :rolleyes:
