Hey, I was wondering since you are opening a detail shop you might be able to help me out. Do you know anyone that works/owns a body shop. I need to get my front bumper fixed. i have gotten a few estimates but am still shopping around since I am short on cash. Here are some pictures so that you can get the jist of what work needs to be done. Other guys on other boards can be of some help but they are in farther burbs and I know you are in my general area. Thanks for your time and consideration. One more thing, are you registered for www.fbodyowners.com ?? If not you should, it is a great site and mainly has illinois guys on it. We have monthly hooters gatherings and other good stuff, check it out !!

What are you looking for? Some touch up paint or an entire bumper repaint? The little swirls to the left of the damage near the grill I may be able to get out with Zaino Z5. I would do it free of charge for ya. As far as the damage along the grille well all I can say for that is either touch up paint or get the entire bumper repainted. You cant just repaint that section because what would start to happen is you would get flaking/chipping paint down the line. If you want a shop to repaint the bumper I know a shop that does great paint work for alot less than most places. Give me a call if you want 773-732-1896.

I have been told that the bumper needs to be removed and that area needs to be fixed and painted. then the whole bumper would be re-clear coated. The swirls next to the actual damage are actually stress cracks in the paint from the damage :mad:

Whoever told you the bumper needs to be removed is either trying to screw you or there is something in the picture that I cant see and would have to see in person.

Well actually the Easter weekend isnt a good time for me. Gotta spend time with the family and such. Plus my family is really strict about Good Friday as a religous day so perhaps after the weekend would be great. Give me a call on Monday. Sorry it cant be sooner.
