motor, HSR, tranny, converter for sale
383 motor - spun rod. http://www.fl-thirdgen.org/mrr23/mrr23-18.html i would like $1700 for all of it. heads, cam, motor, etc will part out if have to. but this is a steal even though it spun a rod.
tranny - 700R4, might have 2k miles. lots of good stuff in it. the 'beast' reaction shell, added clutches in 3-4, corvette servo, .500 boost valve, all GM updates, etc. $600
torque converter - YANK SS3300 with anti ballon plate. $900 new http://www.fl-thirdgen.org/mrr23/ima...erintranny.jpg $600
will consider lower price if tranny and converter sold together
HSR - comes with intake(ceramic coated), fuel rails, custom fuel lines, accel 24# injectors, holley 52mm TB, sensors, upper radiator hose, water neck, and autometer fuel pressure gauge. this is as complete as it gets. over $1300 invested in it. $800 http://www.fl-thirdgen.org/mrr23/mrr23-11.html

my fault for not updating. this motor is long gone. come to find out, a throttle blade screw fell into #4 right after the last dyno pull. got wedged into the head on the flat surface. so the piston was smacking it.
as far as why it only made 290 rwhp. many things come to mind. 1 5/8 headers, 9.5:1 compression, using a MAF, are some that come to mind. with larger headers and a carb, or switching to speed density, it would've made more. and raising the compression a full 1 point would've made a huge difference. but iwas setting up for n2o again.
