My first time out on the ET streets and i could barely keep the car straight while burning out .. ironically enough i was going sideways and after 3 seconds of burning out my car was facing the other lane instead of the tree
i need some ideas on what sort of problems i could have ... brakes ? suspension ? im sure i checked the tire pressures being the same on both slicks ..
im getting line lock for the next event .. maybe that'll help !?

your tires are turning too slow. either do a 2nd gear burnout or wind the pi** out of it. :)

Do you have an airbag? Try adding a little more air to the passenger side.

The majority of the time when a car goes to the side its because there isnt enough wheel speed. Get a line lock, burnout in second to get the tires spinning faster. Thats part of why there is a water box, to get the tires wet so the will spin. Once they are spinning and the water evaporates... they should be spinning fast. 1st gear at 3500 rpm just wont cut it. I know this because I learned the hard way;).

I agree on the wheel speed.
I am doing 2nd gear burn outs on ET Streets no problem. Use 2nd or third for you burn outs ;)
