bmr lowering springs

how are they? are there other lowering springs that are better?

a friend of mine just put them on his LS1 trans am and it looks awesome, not sure how it rides though, I'll have to ask him next time I see him

Make sure you get a decent set of shocks to go with them

i have a set of BMR 1.75" lowering springs i havent put them on yet, i got them for free and cant decide if it is worth it to drop the car that much, i know it will scrape but im not too concerned about that, i just want to know if it will affect my launch

I got the BMR 1" drop springs with the bilstein shocks and it looks awesome and rides great. My buddy did a 1.75 on his LS1 TA and he took them out shortly after. He scraped on everything. It looked awesome but wasn't very practical for the crappy mass. roads. Other things I did when I lowered mine was I did the adjustable BMR panhard bar because I was told by many people that you have to and I have the LCA relocation brackets I just haven't put them in yet.

I have them along with 18" wheels all around and the ride is pretty good. Here is a before and after picture. They also made a great improvement in handling.
