You betcha :D I've actually been out there 2 times since I saw you out there. I will be there tomorrow night as I'm running in the Wednesday night points. Still working on some tuning, but the car is running pretty good. When are you going this weekend? Maybe we could roll in together.

I usially show up about a half hour befor the gates open.(gives me time to check out the other cars) The girlfreind wants to go to the beach, im trying to swing the track. Im trying to get some cheap slicks to run, my poor street tires are not having a good time at the track, so if you see any deals around let me know. I have a set of old IROC wheels im gona use. They are 16". What time will you be showing up?

I might head out Saturday if I can get the MAP connector fixed... The old lady is out of town :)

Man you're tellin me. :D We are on our second mortgage place now and if all goes well we'll close by the end of the month. Lease ends here in July so I have until then to get the garage feature (the red car) back together and at least towable. Got one head ported and most of the header primaries bent. Remember that box of LT1 valve springs you made me take? I found a use for them. :)

Mike - let me know if you need any help putting it back together when you get the parts.

Bobby - I have an extra helmet that I take with me all the time.

Adam - I have some older slicks mounted on salad shooters that I'll let you borrow. I don't know how good they are. I just always bring them with me as back ups.

I wasn't planning on coming, but you twisted my arm enough that I should be there. I usually show about a half hour before the gates open as well.

Sounds like a plan for all of us Southerners to meet up. Just wanna confirm what day and time?

Well the car is running!! If I can get into Torquefreaks and get the A\F confirmed and fix my exaust leak I'll run it. If not I'll take the Z28 vert and just chill, may even run it once for the hell of it :)

Just got an hour of Dyno time Friday morning at 9:00 so as long as its all good I should get a few shake down runs in on Saturday :)

Yeah i twould be cool to roll in all at once. What time do the races start on staurday? 7:00pm? If so how does 6:00 at Shari's sound?

O yeah and i would love to try out your slicks. I would like to see what i can do with a sub 2.0 60 ft. So far my best is a 12.78 @109mph with a 2.00 60ft.

I may be bringing a fast fox body and/or an 03 Lightning along with me, as long as no one minds Fords...oh and provided I can get babysitting. :)

Cody, thanks for the offer to help. I've been working so much I'll have to squeeze in the "car time" when I can so it would be hard to make plans for it. :) I may take you up on it though.

LOL,,, so the smack talking starts now that you have the car running eh. ;) That's ok dude I'm not scared of yer LS1. Launching an M6 aint like mashing the gas and steering it down the track like an auto. You actually have to 'drive' an M6 car. :D Besides, my car won't be a pooch went it comes out of hibernation. ;)

LOL I wouldn't bet against you thats for sure. Plus I think I have a 12 second beast until I can get some 4:10's you can really tell it needs gears. I should be out there tomorow I'll give you a call when I get out of class...

damn i hit 12:70 and i thought that was fast.

It is, with the setup I have now I'd like to get under 12.5 but I think whats going to happen is I'm going to get a high 12 second slip with an 11 sec MPH. If that happens I won't be incredible disappointed. Now if I trap out at 110.........

yeah i here that... I hope to be in the low 12's by the end of the season.

I'm still working on the tuning, but hope to see low 12's by the end of the year, so I can then justify getting a cage. Then we will be shooting for the 11's or maybe 10's ;)

Damn! I wish I had read this earlier; I would have taken the morning off and met you there. Well, it's 10:20 so I hope all is going well at TorqueFreaks!

It went pretty good 403rwhp at about 5900 didn't take it all the way up to 6500-6600 cause it was running a little lean at 13.5. So there is still more power there :) I'm pretty happy I'm FINALLY in the 400 club... Now Jeff you need to sell my your 12 bolt ::cool:

Hey all good time last night. No records set nor personal bests made but all in all a good get together.

Cody's PCM crapped out after loading my tune, that did not work so he tried loading his original tune and PCM went PPFFTT!:death: :cry:

Got to meet a bunch of new people whose names I now forget!:p

I wonder if Chris stayed there all night trying to get his 12.xx in his Stang!

Too bad Tom did not show would have liked to meet him. Maybe he could have offered suggestiond for my 6K rpm stutter!:mad: :cry:

Cody called me about his PCM this morning. Sometimes S**t happens unfortunately at a most inopertune time :( I will be repairing it for him tomorrow night, hopefully I can wake it up for him.

I have to work on that stock eliminator car that Cody mentioned in his last post, that damn Accel Gen6 DFI isn't working right so I have to sort that out in the morning so that the owner can get at least one session of testing before racing in Boise this weekend.

Just one thing to mention, if any of you ever plan to modify your fuel rails with AN style fittings, be sure to get raw aluminum fittings that are NOT anodized. Any attempt to tig weld a anodized peice to a non anodized peice causes porosity and leaks. Thats what happened to this stock eliminator car, they tried welding it several times before they finally ground out the welds, replaced the fittings with non anodized fittings and leaks gone! Something with the anodizing that reacts during the welding process that causes the impurities to gas off and cause porosity in the weld.

I busted my ass to get out there, but the stupid ass project I'm working on (10'x10' shed kit) took too damn long. Warped wood, piss poor instructions...ugh. A couple mistakes on my part sure didn't speed things up.
By the time I wrapped up for the day it was already 6:00 and I was toast.

I will keep checking back for the next get together! Gotta test (as in race, not CATO) my driveshaft loop. It's still a virgin!

Wong got my computer fixed today and I had my spare shipped in from Idaho and is up and working. So now I have my backup again. Thanks Wong :bow:
