I just installed some 18 C5 wheels on my car last night. All four of them fit just fine. But there's a little rubbing in the rear that can easily be taken care of with a little pounding of a rubber malet. Anyways, I noticed that my front wheels are really close to my steering knuckles. There's about 1cm between the edge of my wheel and the knuckle. Maybe a little less....I can fit my finger between the rim and knuckle. Is this something I should be worried about? I checked the distance while turning the wheel and it cleared a complete roation of the steering wheel. Anyways, what do you think?

Not directly related to your question but you mention fixing the slight rubbing with a rubber mallet? I used a medium sledge hammer on mine and barely dented it after like 100 hits. I think your fender well is going to laugh at your rubber mallet :D

I'm not talking about the inner fender area. I'm talking about the area that's towards of the front of the car. I could push it with my hand, and it seemed flexable. It's the area directly to the left of the center of the rim. My inner fender looks just fine, but I may have to attack the bump stop just a tad.
