I have a question about a v6 in a 98 Jimmy, not sure if anything is the same in the birds and camaros. I've noticed when I get on the throttle in my mom's Jimmy it seems to make this water recirculation sound near the floorboard on the passenger side. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
Thanks,
Aron

For how long has it done this?... my guess is at high throttle's... antifreeze flowing through the engine but I'm not sure...

Something with the heater core?
thats where it was located on my 92 GMC jimmy, under the glvoe box...
not sure how the new jimmies compare to my 92 but... maybe that is what it is...
when my borke, dumped all the coolant into the passenger floor :)

Sometimes when the a/c cycles on and off you'll get that noise.
When you get on it, the a/c clutch disengages...
Try turning the a/c off sometime and see if you hear it then too.

I'll try it with the A/C off and see what happens. I'm not sure how long it's been doing this. I hadn't noticed it in a while, which might make sense if it's the A/C, cause it was winter. I was just hoping it wasn't anything to do with the heater core.
Thanks,
Aron
