Any places in Metro Detroit that do converter work?

Need a place that can build/adjust a torque converter and do it well, not too far away. Thanks!

I know of a guy that does it in the alan park area. havent been to his shop, but I know he has all the equip. to do convertor work. the conv. in my 95 is real nice and its one of his. it foot brake stalls to 2600rpm and feels tight on the freeway even unlocked. my car wasnt built before, but it has lasted about 15K mi. that Ive put on it as a daily driver in the summer. who knows how many before I got it from a friend. I can get the # tomorrow if your interested in talking to them.

Call up to Lapeer Trans and gear in Lapeer Michigan and ask for Daryl. He's who I have do my work. Daryl has a shop in Chicago that can do this converter work. They turned mine around in 4 days! on some repair work.
