3m mag&aluminu polish on sald shooters

Can I use the 3m mag&aluminum polish on my sald shooters? It says on the can for "non-coated magnesium & aluminum wheels"
do stock rims have a clear-coat, if so, will this product be harmful for them?

Salad shooters are clear coated as most factory wheels are, hence you do not use a metal polish on them, just use some paint compound on them like 3M Swirl Mark Remover to polish them up and then apply your wax or polish that you use on the rest of the paint...........
