hey guys, i'm puting a high/low cross over in my camaro for a sub, what wire do i need to splice into???? Left, right and common, this would be great if you could help me. Its a 95 camaro with the bose system.

Its a 95 camaro with the bose system. redsled 04-11-2004, 07:28 PM if you're talking about a regular high to low converter, then what you need to do is catch the front rt and lft speakers or the rear rt and lft speakers at the factory amplifier. it doesnt matter if you tie into the front or rear. but make sure you do it at the amplifier! you will get a quarter of the signal from behind the radio since it is a bose system. if im not mistaken, with bose you can find the wires in the rear wheel well by the spare tire......the speaker colors are lt. green/ dark green and tan/ gray for the front the lighter colors are the +'s....... the rear speaker wires are lt. blue/ dark blue and yellow/ brown. on these the darker colors are the +'s.... convertz 04-11-2004, 10:37 PM your adding a sub and have an external crossover right? If so there are speaker level inputs and power required. Tap into the rear speaker wires and run them to the crossovers left and right side. For power run it off your amps power screws. Then run the RCA cable of the crossovers sub out to the in on your amp. Your amp probably has speaker level inputs and a crossover integrated so u probably dont really need to run the X-over. | ||
