Found a car finally... should I buy it...

Hey guys... I need some help.. quick.

I finally found a camaro... its a 1987 Iroc-Z with the 305 4 barell carb. Its metallic blue, ttops, and in good condition. The miles are high though, 160,000. It's an ebay auction though, so I have yet to drive the car or see it in person (ive seen numerous pictures though.) Its 2500. Do you guys think this is a good deal? Should I buy it or not? I need some advice quick, because the auction ends tonite (april 1). I could really use some info. Thanks guys...

Go $2300. 160,000 is a lot of miles. Doesn't look like that bad of a car though.

Why do you think the body is in bad shape? It only needs a lil paint int he front. And its 2100. To me it seemed like a good deal... but now im getting doubts... i dunno what to do lol...

well number 1 i paid only 1500 hundred got it form a divorce suit, second 160,000 miles on a 305 carb is slllllllllllowwwww, you at least want tpi , and the way it looks it wasnt babyed it was kinda beat on so 160,000 is just screaming rear replacement , tranny replacment, bad seals and bearing etc etc etc the normal third gen problems, you really need to drive it to make your desiscion, it could be a home run, or it could be a pop fly who knows till you drive it and look it over, go with your best judgement.

I've talked to a lot of people... and i dont think I am going to get it... Ima wait and find something better...
