SS Exhaust on a V6?

I was wondering what would happen if I put an SS exhaust on my V6... like would i loose hp? and would it make a louder rumble noise? If anyone knows can they fill me in.

I put one on my car...needed to make a pipe adapter, and an extra hanger...It sounds good in my opinion..I've had people tell me it sounds like a v8...but beware..It sucks at a traffic light when a real z28/SS or a WS6 pulls up...and puts the sixer in its place.....

Yeah I put it on yesterday and it does sound allright. But it still isn't any match for a real SS haha.

I'm sure you felt a small difference with the exhaust at least? I wouldn't think that it would cause you to loose any HP. I had a '96 WS6 exhaust put on my old Camaro and I could feel a decent gain with it. It didn't really sound all that bad at all, I liked how there was little to none popping to it.

I was wondering if it was possible to put that SS exhaust on a V6 where it comes out in the center below the license plates just like on the vettes and some SS's... If so how much would that cost and where can you get the kit?

Yep, it's possible, it's what I have on my car. I got the SLP CME tip off ebay. I have an RS so I didnt use the rear fascia that the ss have for the exhaust. I love how it looks and sounds. If you have any ?'s let me know. -Travis-

How much would it cost and where did you get the exhaust kit or kits from? would any modifcation be needed?
