I have the 350hp/ 327ci cam (the old 60s GM cam that was found in 327s like the Nova) in my 350. If I remember right the duration was 224/224.

Does anyone have the specs to this cam? I really need lift and lobe seperation info.

Thanks, that sounds about right. I am changing from old crappy smogger heads to ZZ4 heads and I want a cam that can push HP but not emissions. I figure that with 30+ years of tech behind some of the new cam grinds I can get alot more hp and fewer emissions especially with the new heads.

I am looking at a comp XE grind of about 224/230 on a flat tappet/hyd. Off the top of my head it comes in at about .500 lift with a 1.6 rocker. The heads have been redone with springs that can tolerate .600 lift, but I don't need to use all that to max out the airflow.

Fief posted the correct grind. I heard this cam idling in a rebuilt 350 in a '62 Corvette at a local speed shop last week, and boy it sounds nice. Cool idle, real smooth sounding. I recall back in the 1970s how everyone and their brother would run either that cam or the LT-1 solid-lifter cam in their small block.
