Didn't know where to post this so here goes.

What brake pads are you guys running? I need something that will offer good performance, but not wear the powerslot rotors too bad.

What do you suggest?

Good link. FWIW, I've got ceramic pads on my TA at the moment that came from Pep Boys. My new front brakes are from a Z06 with the Speed Specialty brackets. I've got another set of ceramic pads for them that I got from GM Parts Direct. :)

I couldn't tell you what part no. it is. When I went to buy the pads, they gave them as one of the options of pads I could get. Sorry I couldn't be of anymore help than that.

A GREAT place for your question is in the Autocross and Road Racing section.

Hawk HPS pads. That's what I'm going with after my stockers are shot.

Do a search, and I think that you'll get a lot of positive feedback.

Yeah i have the hawk pads and they are great and i have the powerslot rotors too. They really don't dust and from what i've heard they last pretty long.

AMEN!! I have the NAPA Ceramix aswell, both front and rear. They are some of the greatest pads I've ever purchased. I went about 3 weeks without washing my car, I know I'm bad but I was busy!, anyway, the rims were still nice and clean. I think I paid something like 40 for the front and 50 for the rear. I'll have to look at the receipt but I got it through work and was able to get a really good discount.

This would go in the brakes forum :D

I use Napa Ceramix pads on my 96SS. I like those the best... they dust very little but still stop the car pretty darn good!

I run Raybestos ceramics with AutoZone $40 rotors. I paid $150 for my ceramic pads, all 4 wheels, with lifetime replacement. I'll never pay for brake pads again.

No dust, no noise, quick stops.

I run Hawk HPS pads and the cheap Autozone rotors. I'm real happy with the results. Little more dust maybe than the stock pads but install an awesome sense of safe warp free braking. And they didn't break the bank :thumb:
