10th Annual Cops & Rodders Car Show-North Brunswick NJ

Last year we had 75 F-Bodys participate in the Escort into the Cops and Rodders Car show, and had 100 F-Bodys in the Show, and a total of 600 cars show up-!

Pictures from Last Year's Show (http://community.webshots.com/user/tangotwo)

All F-Bodys meet at the Sears parking lot at 7:30am on April 25th.

We will meet up there, then head over to the show as a group.

The Sears is located on Route One southbound, just south of Route 18.

EMail me at NBP555@AOL.com and I will EMail you back a Registration form.

The North Brunswick NJ Police Dept Death, Retirement, Widows & Orphans Fund will be holding our 10th Annual Cops and Rodders Car Show on Sunday, April 25th 2004.

Last year we had over 600 cars at the show, and is growing each year.

It will be held at the DeVry College of Technology on Route One northbound, mid way between Route 130 and Route 18 on April 25th, with a rain date of May 2nd.

All Pre-registered Vehicle are guaranteed a Plaque.
Pre-registration is $15.00, and must be received by April 16th .

On site registration is $18.00 the day of the event

Anyone wishing a Registration form or has any questions can EMail me at NBP555@AOL.com, and I will send it out.

Most of the Information is on the Registration Form, but I'll give you some highlights here.

This is the 10th year of the show. Our 1st year we had 88 cars show, and it has been building every year. Last year we had well over 600 cars show, making us one of the BIGGEST shows around for what we are.
All kinds of cars show up, both old and newer. Everyone likes the mix of cars that show up, and that it is early in the year, where people are itching to the their rides outta the garage.

There is no "official" judging of cars. We give out trophys, but regular people give them out to the cars they like.

Admission for spectators is free.

Registration fee is $15 per car if you Pre-Register before April 16th.

Registration fee is $18 at the gate the day of the show.

ALL Pre-Registered cars will receive a participation Plaque.

Also the day of the show, as you enter, we take a picture of you in your car, and we put it in a Plaque that you can purchase if you like.

We also sell food and shirts at the show.

The date of the show is April 25th, with a rain date of May 2nd.

It starts at 9am, and ends at 2pm. Try to show up before 9am, as it takes time to get over 600 cars into the show.

It is held at the DeVry College of Technology, which is on Route One northbound in North Brunswick, midway between Route 130, and Route 18.

Anything else you need, let me know at NBP555@AOL.com

I am coordinating the Car Clubs for the show, so go through me for any questions you may have.

If you can, stop at Fuddruckers the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm.

A group of us meets there, all F-Body guys/girls.

We meet at the Fuddruckers in Bridgewater on Route 22westbound, JUST west of Route 287.

If you're coming from Cherry hill, I would get on 295N, and take that to Rte. 1, and follow Rte. 1 N to the show.

I'm not very good with directions...I know landmarks better :)

If you can take 295 from NJ to PA., once you cross Scudders Falls bridge into Pa., you could exit, stop at the Park N Ride and I can meet you there and you could follow me?

I'll be coming up Rte. 1, Northbound. I've been to the show before, but what exit do I take to meet you at SEARS? I can't remember

Thanks

Take Route 1 north into North Brunswick. You will pass Route 130, then pass DeVry where the show is. About 1 mile past the DeVry you will see the Sears on your left.
Follow signs for Route 18 north, then loop over Route 1, then once over the bridge exit onto Route 1 south. The Sears will be on your right.

Well, Tango Two worked wonders :) The weather cooperated...

Did you get caught in any downpours on the way home? I did! At least the weather for the show was nice, and it cleared up enough when I got home to clean the SS up.

Looking forward to next year.

Left at 12:45, ran into rain 15 mins later and it rain on us all the way home. Sucked. Spent a whole day detailing the car and it didn't last a whole day. But it was "nice" enough to rinse the car off at home, chamois it down and back it into the garage. Then it started drizzling again. Which was then cool because I couldn't do anything else but sit on the couch and watch Dale Jr "almost" win at Talladega. :D

I did hang my plaque up during a commercial break. They are really nice this year. Thanks, Tango Two.

I got caught in the rain just as I left. I hate that NASCAR will end a race under caution. They really need to find a way to end the race with actual racing like the truck series. Heck, I went back out and mowed the front yard around 6pm after the race and the rain stopped.
