I'm running a Moser 33 spline 12 bolt, LS-1 driveshaft, 3200 Vig, a little motor work. calfirebird 04-08-2004, 12:20 AM i would be in duckhead4life 04-08-2004, 02:53 AM i would be in also Josh-'04 GTO 04-08-2004, 10:35 PM I'd be up for that too. :) cndctrdj 04-09-2004, 08:09 PM how many do we have now calfirebird 04-09-2004, 10:15 PM plenty, But i have never seen a sponsor do a GP on these. ULTIMTEORANGESS 04-09-2004, 10:19 PM i dont think anything is going to happen. its just too easy to sell these things it appears. CrippleFightin 04-10-2004, 03:27 PM Damn these sponsers! :D You figured they'd do it considering all the people this time of year that would buy em. Cheapos! dnz28 04-10-2004, 06:17 PM that the thing they know you want them. even if there is no gp most of you will end up buying them and its nothin but profit. If anything right now would be a good time to raise the price. Thats the same thing I was thinking when I posted last time, but hey they SHOULD be cheaper if they are readily available and have a demand. Just good business. As long as they are still making profit why not help us out and have a GP for like $10 or $20 of a tire? Isnt the point of sponsering this site to make themselves known to more consumers? I say a GP should be had! duckhead4life 04-12-2004, 12:08 PM i agree completely Steve in Seattle 04-17-2004, 04:10 AM At the risk of sounding like sounding old, I'll let you guys know how I got in on my first set of Nittos for $145 each: 1) Call every distributer you can find and ask about Group Purchase Rate. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN ON THE GP. 2) Send email to everyone who expressed interest, with a GP number (most distributors will be glad to set up an identifier for this purpose) and the contact number for the business you found to work the GP with. 3) the distributor/business involved collects payment as they would any other sale, but make sure you mention the GP to get the discount. Obviously it's a bit of work for someone to step up and do, but I organized 50 sets of tires back in 2000.... and most places will give you cut rates for 10 or more sets without hassel. When I organized my GP, it was on this board... but rules have changed and enthusiast-efforts to set up GP's arn't permitted anymore, so you'd need to "spam" a few donzen people who post to lists like this asking if they want in. (or direct them to a board that permits you to find a GP on your own and sue that forum/thread to organize the buyer list). Good luck... and let me know if you get a deal on 275's :) Steve "yep... just realized I've been here too long to; feeling real old 'bout now :p" Josh-'04 GTO 04-17-2004, 09:39 AM I'd love to support the board sponsers, but it's hard to do if they don't step up to the plate and be competitive... 2000silverz28 04-18-2004, 01:39 AM Is discount tire a sponsor here? They are offering 10 bucks off a tire over on ls1tech.com. Just a heads up. ULTIMTEORANGESS 04-18-2004, 04:05 AM thx.i was hoping someone would jump on this. its only going to be for a couple days so dont hesitate. b-stevens 04-18-2004, 11:41 AM that makes for an excellent price on the stock salad shooters | ||
