It's a shame the V6 gets better wheels than the GT. I still can't make myself like that color though, not that it's bad. One light green car was enough for me. The fog lights on the GT have grown on me a lot lately.

You know something..... I love that color on the Mustang.

That is nearly the same color as my old '70 Camaro SS. I used to consider it puke green....so maybe my tastes have mellowed with age.

yea, those wheels are way better, and its a nice "bullit"ish green

My 67 Mustang is lime-gold, very similar to that V6 Mustang. In 68 they made it darker like the "Bullitt" Mustang.

Am I the only one who hates those wheels??

Call me crazy but I like fog lights, spoilers and such. And what color is that anyway Urine Metallic Green?

I like everything about the GT better than the base car.

I also hate the lame "Mustang" graphic on the bottom of the car...

My uncle had a Cougar that was almost the same shade.... I LIKE IT! :D

I can't stand the way the new GT Stangs look. The fog lights were an after thought, and make the front end look cluttered and awkward. I'm not sure why, but I think all SN95+ Stangs look better without the spoiler. The only exception would be the 99 model's "arch" spoiler. The spoiler on the 05 looks like a carry-over from the previous car. Looks out of place to me.

it's very clean. much better than the over-the-top GT.

Just not a fan of the car from the B-pillar back. Awkward. Every Mustang with the word Mustang at the bottom of the door has just looked cheesy to me. I do like the cleaned-up front though. The GT would look much better with a foglight-delete option.

IMO the foglights of the GT are oversized. It's nice they are in the grille, but dang!

If I order a GT, I'd want to delete the rear spoiler & would like to delete the fog lights as well.

I'll probally have to keep the wheels, since Ford is going with a different bolt diameter on the Stang.

one pretty mustang? I was hoping to see a brand new one ran head first into a wall...damn now I'm dissapointed I ever opened this thread, how am I supposed to get these 30 seconds of my life back now that I've wasted them to see that piece of ****???

C'mon man, its not that bad. I think its a good lookin car. I used to not like Mustangs and other Fords, but with this Japanese rice invasion, if it's GM, Ford, or Dodge I like it. Camaro, Mustang,(Charger??) We're all on the same American muscle team:D

Retro anything sucks, plain and simple...where are they going to go from there make then next one look like the 70's mustang? Be creative, I think it sucks...just my opinion.....

It's not that I don't like the new Mustang because it's "retro" no because it's a Mustang, I just don't like the final production vehicle. Not in V8 or V6 form. I liked the show car's front a lot better. Maybe I'll like a different iteration, but the current two shown make me want to :barf: .

Actually, the original 1965 Mustang was "retro" in the sense that many of its design cues were taken from the 1956 Lincoln Mark. BTW, how many here know the original Mustang was designed my Mercury designers?

A lot of new cars are retro in some sense too. I was looking at a side by side pic of some vintage Jag next to a new one (don't remember models), and they're very much alike.

z28ever, that's the v6 i saw too. We didn't get the GT. I thought it was a very good and clean looking car, and loved it. I thought it looked great in person in comparison to the pics i've seen online. I thought i would hate the rear, but loved that too.

The Houston autoshow will be here in a week or so. I'll be getting pics. Hopefully the GT and V6 are present. Any GM pic requests?

The first thing that would go is the little spinners on the wheels...then the spoiler. IMO-The V6 version looks much better. The GT looks a little crowded.
