This is what you have all been waiting for!!!! I just spoke with Jason D. and he approved a one time GP for the members of this site. GMMG would like to thank all of the staff and members of CamaroZ28.com for this opportunity !!!!:bow:

Heres the details of the GP.......


10 person minimum. Orders will be held until this # has been met.

Regular pricing for our exhaust is

700.00 shipped with the standard slashcut tips

850.00 shipped with the optional oval tips.


GP pricing will be

650.00 shipped with the standard slashcut tips

775.00 shipped with the optional oval tips

Thats 50.00 off the standard system and 75.00 off the system with oval tips. Again, these prices INCLUDE shipping charges.

We will run this GP from today 3/25/04 through 4/15/04. Once 10 orders have been received we will begin shipping exhausts. All orders MUST be POSTMARKED on or before 4/15/04 to be accepted as part of the GP.

May I ask why the oval tips are SO much more than the standard slashcut tips? That just seems like a lot of additional cost for exhaust tips.

I dont think the 75 bucks is TOO terribly much to ask for tips, considering this is the only way you can get them, and they are a very wanted tip that no one else has, and look awesome.

Corsa wants like 250 just for there @#$% TIPS! Somthing like that...and the borla tips aren't that much cheaper.

Now, had it been normally i wouldn't cough up 150 for tips...i dont...think.

I dunno, but i do see why they want to charge that, and i can see where you are coming from as well.

I'm still not positive i'm getting the tips. I probably will. Still gotta check and see how much money i have in the bank and all.

The system includes catback, I pipe, all clamps needed for install, your choice of tips, additional brackets for our LT1 customers.


As for the tips, they cost money to make just like anything else. They look absolutely awesome tucked under the rear fascia of a WS6, almost like they were designed to be there ;) Theyre on my SS and I love em..

As said above, try n get some Corsa tips or Borla tips for a lesser price..... :eek:

The tips are definately worth the $$. Especially since they are exclusive to GMMG owners. I wish that they were available when I purchased my system 3 years ago. My borla dual round slash intercooled tips were $80 each. You guys will absolutely love this exhaust system.

I'd just like to add that I have a GMMG exhaust and that it is absolutely amazing. It is the best catback made and you wont find better customer service anywhere. I just wish they would have done this before I bought mine :(

Ron, how much would it cost to get a 94 LT1 3" I-pipe for my GMMG? One that goes right up to the Y-over the axle? Or should I just call?

first i have to say ....the GMMG is one of the best LT1 off-the-shelf exhausts ive heard..........i got to hear one of your Berger SS edition camaros owned by a local collector, and it sounds beautiful.

corsas are just insane.....borlas arent too bad, $139 from summit

as for the oval's being $150 extra, i really cant see that.....i got some very nice oval tips with a rolled lip (which i think looks nicer than the cut lip) for under $80 for the pair, and im sure as a manufacturer buying in bulk they cost half that.

i love your exhaust system, i just think the tips are overpriced.

If I counted correctly, I think there is 10 people who stated in their post that they sent money in, hopefully the money orders will get to GA soon and the exhausts will get shipped out.

Im quite confident we will get the 10 orders needed. We have 4 already and I see 4 or 5 more posting their money is in the mail. Im sure Ill get plenty of orders on Monday. None today though .....

Yep,we've GOTTA have 10 on monday. I FedExed (i think?) or somthing that took 2-3 days to get there, and i did that on Thursday. Should be there tommorow,maybe tuesday at latest. We've got like 3 or so more orders that should pop up on monday. He may not have them all now, but when the mail comes on monday,he can get them all together,and get back to us on the board with some nice results on tuesday,announcing that they are starting to get them shipped :D

I sent my check in about a week ago via snail mail... so in addition to the 9 names Ron posted, if at least one of ours arrives by Monday we should be good.

woo hoo, i checked the status of my money order, i paid a little extra for it to get there this morning and it says delivered and signed by mike, so the 10 has to be reached, ron can you guys ship today :) that wuld be sweet to have this by this weekend

I talked to someone from GMMG today and he said that some orders were shipped out Friday and more were shipped out today. The secretary wasn't in at the time so no tracking number was available. So it looks like they are on their way. :thumb:

Hey guys/girls sorry to leave you hanging for a few days... I had to head to NY to pick up a few customer vehicles and ran into a few problems with the tow vehicle itself ... I just returned to Atl a few mins ago(3:30am) I have been in contact with our office manager, the 10 order minimum has been met. We shipped 4 exhausts(max UPS will take /day) yesterday. I have 4 more going out tomorrow as well. Already sitting by the door. I will get a complete list of names/tracking #s and post them here by lunch tomorrow. Some of your systems will be coming without the 2.5"clamps to put your tips on. The clamps are scheduled to arrive tomorrow or Thursday. I will ship them asap!! More than likely they will arrive the same time as the exhaust. I just wanted to give you guys a heads up we didnt forget them. If you do install the system please put the tips on to make sure theyre where you want them before tightening down the other clamps. Then remove the tip until the clamps arrive. I apologize for the delay on the clamps and hope it doesnt cause too many issues

NOTE****** Guys, when installing the system, please make sure you have room around all pipes and the exhaust is in the position you want it. Once the 3" crusher clamp is tightend you will have VERY LITTLE adjustment. There have been a few in the past who made this mistake and the system didnt fit the way it should.

Updated Tracking #s above!!!

One more thing... Dont panic if you run the tracking #and it doesnt show yet. UPS hasnt picked up today and they wont be in the system until they do. Once UPS scans itthe tracking # will be available online. I have 11 systems downstairs to go out today(not all GPs) so UPS will probably not pick them all up. Whats left will go out tomorrow. Hope this helps!!!!

woo hoo got mine looks pretty good, cant wait i wanna install it saturday, what kind of clamps should i use to hold the tips on until the regular ones come? man i didnt know the v8 exhaust was so heavy, this gmmg is very heavy, looks awesome, must be the stainless steel that makes it heavy, well plus being 3" :)

Heavy..... hhahahaha wait till ya take the stocker off... I about broke my back the first time I removed an SLP dual dual... Those things have to be 100lbs...

can i just use regular clamps for the time being for the tips? what kind do you suggest for now?

exhaust is on, the place i have some work done to my car only charged me 45.00 and i would have done it myself but i dont have a garage and im not laying on the ground, the guy said the gmmg was the easiest exhaust he put on these cars, it had great fitment and man its only been on about 5 hours and it sounds better and better, very sweet sounding, i thought my car screamed before :) im very happy with this, only 1 very very slight thing that kinda bugs me is i think it may be slighltly touching a heat shield because when its idleing in drive it has kinda vibrating noise like its touching the heat shield, other than that it is amazing.

Got my exhaust Friday and installed it that night. I must say, it is the most amazing sound I ever heard coming out of an LT1 :D Some people said it would be too loud with the cats cut off, but I think it sounds perfect. I can't wait till I get my LT's, blower, and cam installed. Then she'll really scream!

Thanx for the great deal Jason and Ron :D I'm going to get mine installed this Saturday if everything goes well. Anyone interested in a video clip of Jethot LTs + GMMG? I'll make one if people want to hear it and I have somewhere to host.

Vibration of mine was caused by it hitting the crossmember connecting the floor pans.

Mine too, and I think its giving me a false knock. I am putting LT4 KM in tomorrow and tightening up the pipe. I'll let you know if it clears it up.

so if it is hitting crossmember how do you stop it? use washers on the cross member? are you talking about the tranny crossmember?

If its hitting the cheesy GM cross member that looks like its made from tin, then either remove it or just pry down on it to give ya just a lil more clearance.

Yes, I pried it down a bit, now there is no more rattle. Try that out guys.

Well I finished installing the catback today. It sounds really good, but I'm a little dissapointed in how loud it is :( I seen some other posts someone said that with LT's and no cats it will be pretty loud and raspy. Well mine seems quiet with no rasp at all. Ron does this exhast get louder with say 1 month of driving under it like some other brands? Or will it stay the same?

why would you want a raspy crappy sounding exhaust? if you want annoying rasp you should have gotten the crapply loudmouth, i checked mine out and its not touching anything and im still getting that sound that sounds like a heat shield rattling/buzzing, i looked as best as i could around the heat shield that is in the rear of the car right above the gmmg mufflers, i dont see it touching but the noise is annoying, it goes away if i get on the gas pretty good but at idle or under 25 it makes the noise :(

Mine wasnt touching either, it would tap it when the engine torqued.

No I don't want a raspy exhaust, I just wanted it to be a tad louder thats all. Do you think this exhaust gets louder after some miles are put on it?

When did you listen to it? I can tell you that from the inside its not that loud, and having someone rev it while its parked isnt that loud. But when my g/f made an errand one day and drove off, it sounded completely different then I thought. It was much louder and I heard her down all the side streets for quite some time. Bear in mind this with stock catfoward.

Maybe I'm just used to how my car did sound when it was just a straight pipe. Now that there is some kind of exhaust, its much quieter. I love the tone of it though!
