which is better in ur opinions. for a relativly stock car, but eventually going to be built up

a built up 4l60e with all the good clutches, bands, and so on. with a decent but not reputable torque converter(local)

or

a 4l60e with a shift kit and a good torque converter(midwest)(tranny cooler added as well)

which is better for time slip and strength? i need a rebuild anyway and i just wanted to know which option is better

I am going to have a setup like #2. Thats the way I would go.

I think it depends on how big you are building up. The second option looks better to me since you can do it on your own. People are running #2 type setup in low 12's or 12 flat.
