...Rapid acceleration......

Question for all that love to haul ass...twice....lemme know if this relates to your LS1's also.... I'l be cruisin on the street get to 10-15 miles an hour when slowing down...then when I'm ready to accelerate....just to pass people or what not, it feels like my posi's not kicking in....like I feel like I get a one tire of fire for like 2-3 seconds before the posi kicks in. Or there are times I'll be in a parking lot, ot idling past something.....and then want to take off, only the right wheel begins to spin up....and then later the other one begins to kick in.... Anyone know or have this problem with their stock posi? Is there a problem? Before I switched to a 4.10, I swear that thing was kicking in right away. Now it's like my car is slower at low end because it's not grabbing.......thanks for any info.

can you lay two patches of rubber from that speed?

if not than it seems pretty obvious that the posi is bad. try changing the fluid and make sure you use some additive.

My passenger side always "feels" like it is spinning more, but it's not. I lay down 2 equal stripes of rubber.

hey, something new to bring up, I looked and my pinion seal was leaking under the car. Do you think because there wasn't enough fluid in? I am driving in it now and it seems to be running better....
