LS1/LS6 intake dyno #'s

okay here is the deal. i have a 2001 t/a and my good friend has a 2000 t/a. we have all the same mods basically and we both dynoed on the same day about 30 minutes apart. we both have MTI clear lids, K&N filter ported maf ends, tb bypass, and predator tuners. the only difference besides the intake, is that he has borla and i have the qtp cutout.
now for the numbers:
2001 2000
peak peak
341.7 hp 338.5 hp
358.6 tq 351.7 tq

4000 rpm 4000 rpm
357.3 tq 347.5 tq

5200 rpm 5200 rpm
341.0 hp 334.2 hp

yeh mine had more but i went back and looked at my friends dyno and he was running real lean so the diff my not have been as much as i thought

just the ones listed above. and be careful if you port your maf it made my friends car run real lean. but we fixed that with the predator tuner.

You also have to remember that between the 2000 and 2001 there is a cam difference. The 01-02 cam is the one out of the trucks, thats why you make so much more torque than he does. Anyway, figured i'd let you know.

You can't compare a mod or intake to intake on 2 seperate cars and get good data. You can take 2 cars bone stock from the same year and get different numbers like that.
