Can you dye a vinyl top?

Is it possible to dye a convertible top so it doesnt look stained anymore? What type of dye?

Curious, is your top vinyl? Mine isn't. From the factory they are made out of a cloth like material called Stayfast. I don't know if you can die Stayfast like you can die vinyl.
