Why can we edit posts but not polls??

Makea plenty of sense. If people were to be able to edit polls, they would change the answers the public gives, skewing it in the direction they want it to go in, thereby not showing truthful results.

Yeah, I think I know what you mean but that still doesn't accurately show the results.

Let's have some fun with this... :)

If I started a 5-day poll called "What do you want to eat for lunch?"

And the selections would be as follows:

1) Monkey puke
2) Dog crap
3) Peter North residue with a glass of Ron Jeremy sweat
4) Bowl of stale cereal, no sugar

And let people vote on it for 4 days. THEN added a 5th selection called:

5) Your hometown's best pizza and a case of beer

and let it run for only ONE day before the poll ended.

When the poll ends it would probably show that MORE people would rather eat selection 4 (at least I hope no one would want 1-3) and not as much would want the added selection 5. That wouldn't make much sense, would it?

If you mess up your poll that bad, delete it and start another one.

I was under the assumption the polls were for entertainment and not scientific use.

I based all my collage papers on polls in the lounge. Also I vote for #2 dog crap.
