WHat could cause a A4 tranny to slip only at WOT? Please tranny experts!CJ Black LS1 Z28 M6 09-03-2002, 11:13 PM Well this is the question I have. My 94 Z28 (3:23) Only slips a WOT. During normal driving it's fine even with I get on it a little (gas pedal halfway down). Could this be the throttle body cable or maybe something I could fix with a HPP? What is more intersting to me than, WHAT IS Broken in your tranny. is WHY it is broken. Performance 4L60E's need the Trans Go Shift kit, CUSTOM PCM tuning that addresses apply and holding pressures, and or the TransGo Vacuum Modulator in addition to the PCM work. A HUGE GVW tranny cooler is a good idea also. Unless you addres the why issues you most likey will be back on the forum with the same issues in 3-6 months.
