NEOhio autocrossers

How many people on here race at up in Akron at Bridgestone or with the ASCC in Euclid? This will be my first year autocrossing and I'll be racing at both places. I've checked both their websites and there are hardly any f-bodies. I'll be at every possible event I can get to so I can get as much seat time as possible.

Bobby has raced his 2001 SS at the Euclid Mall last year along with some other Scorpion Racing members..wonder if they plan on it this year too. I wouldn't mind trying it. I am getting my torque arm within the next couple weeks; I will bring you your torque arm soon as I get it off.

My Spohn T/A is still for sale if you want it.

Do you know the part number of the torque arm you have? Spohn lists a torque arm for 1998-2002 LS1 with longtube headers of part # 405 but for the LT1 cars the part # is 405-LT1. I wonder if your's will fit my car. How much do you want for your's?

Like Brian said, I raced at Euclid Square Mall last year with the ASCC and Corvette Club and it was alot of fun!!!
Rumor has it, that new owners bought the Euclid Mall property and won't give permission to the ASCC for autocross events. Don'T Quote Me On That!!!!!!!!!

I also raced with the NEOCC at their annual autocross day at Goodyear in Akron. That was a blast!!!!!!!! Long Straights and Lots of Speed!!!!!!!! You will really enjoy it when you go!!!!!

Bob, I'm in the NE Ohio SCCA Solo 2, my first race is on the 4th at the Firestone plant. I hope those cones are really soft:o

Sadly the NE Ohio SCCA Solo 2 program is down this year so now the only other group I can race with is the ASCC.

So the events at Euclid Square Mall won't be running this year?

The SCCA ran at the firestone plant in Akron. The ASCC will be running at the Euclid square mall this year but their future is uncertain too because the new owner of the mall is against using the parking lot for autocrossing.

I hope they can still run at the mall or at least somewhere close. I think I will buy you TQ ARM but I have to wait until I get my commission check(usually by the 10th of the month, April). Does your TQ ARM have a DS loop?

GREAT NEWS!!! I ran into Bill & Karen at the Mentor Mall and they said there will be racing at Euclid Square Mall Sunday April 4th. They said there will be two events every month at the Euclid mall. If the weather is nice sunday, I will probably make my way up there to check it out!!!
