Anybody modding their ride right now?RealQuick 03-11-2004, 08:21 AM Just seeing what everyone is up to. 95TA8280 03-11-2004, 08:40 AM Ahhhh yes. I'm doing the old "find out why you car eats up a qt of oil every 1000 miles" mod... Judging by my dyno, it should be worth about 20 horses! TenaciousZ 03-11-2004, 04:38 PM In about two weeks my heads go on :D Slowhawk 03-11-2004, 04:46 PM Do you call a car with the engine pulled,,modding?:D TenaciousZ 03-11-2004, 04:48 PM Originally posted by Slowhawk Do you call a car with the engine pulled,,modding?:D  hmmm! yes, yes I do :D RealQuick 03-12-2004, 12:11 PM Originally posted by TenaciousZ In about two weeks my heads go on :D What heads you going with? RealQuick 03-12-2004, 12:12 PM Originally posted by Slowhawk Do you call a car with the engine pulled,,modding?:D Don, what do you have going on? Any hints? ALso, I know you tune LS1's, how much hp/tq could my pops gain in his 99 C5 if you made a tune for him? Slowhawk 03-12-2004, 02:09 PM I have a tuning special going on for 2 more weeks over at LS1tech eastern section. On gains it depends on what I start at.A common gain is 10hp/10tq across the rev range and alot better throttle response in part throttle areas.I've seen as much as 30hp/20tq on a couple cars. TenaciousZ 03-12-2004, 02:52 PM Originally posted by RealQuick What heads you going with? nothing special really, just a set of ported lt1's that flow 260ish at .550. Eventually I'll throw a bigger cam in instead of the hotcam. I bought them off a member here, that's actually one thing I never asked him  Joe Crehan 03-12-2004, 03:32 PM i just put a shifter on my MACH1...don't tell anyone. :D RealQuick 03-12-2004, 05:33 PM Originally posted by Joe Crehan i just put a shifter on my MACH1...don't tell anyone. :D Maybe I have seen you around? Josh-'04 GTO 03-13-2004, 08:32 AM Originally posted by bowtiepwr >SO are you gonna try the new dyno here in Ludlow or will you go with Dean ? I didn't know RAD's was up and running, it's been a while since I've been over there. Have you checked it out? That would be WAY more convenient for me than going to Worcester. bowtiepwr 03-13-2004, 10:30 AM >I don't know if they are ready yet , but I will use NEDyno and RAD when I have the chance . I just got my car started all I need is a Y pipe and cat(s) . WTF 03-14-2004, 08:44 AM I've been trying to get a hold of Dean of a Head/Intake swap on my Z but's he's a hard man to get a hold of. Not to mention that Spring is going to ne here before we realize it:alert: Kataklysm 03-14-2004, 03:24 PM I'm trying to put headers in, the damn passanger side just doesn't want to come out though. kmanRS/SS 03-14-2004, 04:57 PM does a complete resto mod count as modding? if so i guess im modding my 67 RS/SS IRONCROSS97 03-14-2004, 07:14 PM just curious is there anyone from central mass and if so where do all the camaros hang out when the nice weather comes around here? Josh-'04 GTO 03-14-2004, 10:11 PM I'm from Ware, which is pretty much smack dab in the middle of Massachusetts. When I find a good place to cruise/hang out, I'll let you know. :( Until then, I guess I'll keep abusing riceboys. :) RealQuick 03-15-2004, 06:35 AM Originally posted by QUICKSLVR2 just curious is there anyone from central mass and if so where do all the camaros hang out when the nice weather comes around here? Hey, off the subject a little, how are your AI heads? Any dyno numbers/track numbers with your current setup? 5-liter-eater 03-15-2004, 03:05 PM Im doing some light modding this as we speak ;) IRONCROSS97 03-15-2004, 05:35 PM the ai heads are great. the combo i have in my camaro i feel is a strong one. i havent got her on a dyno yet nor has it been on the track. but i will say this salesguy from diamond chevy in worc found out just how fast she is, made his buyer test driving in the z06 think twice about spending the money on a z06 after they just got spanked by a camaro with z06 rims on her hahahahaha, it should be interesting this season when i take her out of storage she will be at the summer nationals this year. Runs really good for no tune and ported and polished heads with a cc306, Now I have to bolt the rest of the exhaust back on....Where is the Dyno here in Ludlow:confused: bowtiepwr 03-18-2004, 03:19 PM >RAD is located on Ravenwood Drive . If you get off the MassPike ... bang a right (Center Street) past police station and High School continue to go straight . When you get to a stop sign go straight (at an angle and to the right a little) 80 Ravenwood Dr. (413) 583-4414 grygst76 03-18-2004, 04:55 PM Originally posted by bowtiepwr >RAD is located on Ravenwood Drive . If you don't mind jumping a fence like the Dukes of Hazard you can see RAD from the Pike! grygst76 03-18-2004, 06:52 PM I know where it is. Thanks guys. IRONCROSS97 03-18-2004, 08:03 PM well let see where i am located it hasnt stopped snowing in about 3 days. at this rate april is looking good. we can all make a convoy to the dyno, and then dyno as many as we can in a day. try and find a central point and then pick a day and if the weather stays good then we all meet up and take a ride....... ANYONE INTERESTED SEND ME A EMAIL AT ZOOTEDAGEN@AOL.COM.. bowtiepwr 03-19-2004, 07:04 AM Originally posted by bowtiepwr >RAD is located on Ravenwood Drive .
