Found a little extra in the ol' girl tonight. We had some nice weather tonight and I figured this might be my last time to go to the track for a while.

Best run of the night was a 12.57 @ 111 mph. I cut a 1.86 60' time.

There were a couple other LS1 guys out there at the track hating on me. LOL I guess my car is just a freak and I can drive the piss out of it. :D

Great job Dan! You've got alot more in that 60' too. I'll be taking out the new Z the first night I can. Just hoping I can pull a 13.5 though...

Congrats on the new record :) Were you spanking the other LS1's at the track or what? Kinda silly that they'd be talking smack on a fellow F-body owner :D

My previous best was a 12.609 @ 110.5 mph with a 1.88 60'

And no, I haven't done any mods to my car in since then. In fact, I haven't done any mods to my car in just about a year. I'm thinking it may be time again. :D

I know the hood might be lighter.. but do you have any other dieting items. Ie. Lightweight Battery, etc. Did you remove the front sway bar? What kind of tires were you on? Your car definately runs good. At least 3-4 tenths than most other cars with those mods.. Impressive.

He is impressive, but 12.5's have been done before on lid/cutout setups. Still thats an awsome ET/MPH for that little done.

Full everyday driving weight, nothing removed. I just made sure I had about 1/4 of a tank of gas to save on weight.

I was running on Nitto Drag radials.

Nice times! Any idea what the density altitude was? Or at least the air temp, humidity and barometric pressure?

No clue what it is...with me in the car, its probably gotta be close to 3700 pounds. That would be my guess, but I could be off.
