Hey fellas, quick question on a new Mach 199_Z_155 03-10-2004, 09:59 PM The question is can i beat one in a quarter? there is a guy in town that got one a while back and wants to run em, but i want to know if its safe to talk smack then win lol, car in sig. thanks in advance guys. juiced_lt1 03-10-2004, 10:54 PM get a good launch and hope he can't drive... Gold Z 03-11-2004, 12:14 AM You should beat him but expect a very close race either way. They are a 13 second car stock. kevkop94TA 03-12-2004, 07:25 PM What Rob said, if you're running lowish 13's then I don't see you having much of a problem. Amped96 03-16-2004, 06:44 AM I beleive the Mach 1's are capable of mid to low 13s stock. I raced one and beat him simply because I got the holeshot on him. He ran a 13.5 @ 105 to my 13.7 @ 104. You having an LS1 you should be able to get a stock one. http://www.svtoa-memphis.com/gallery/album51/IMG_0362 :D Yeah, yeah...I'm painting her soon, but atleast my primer is ahead of the Mach 1. ;) ASRoff 03-18-2004, 10:58 AM I have a friend with one. He's not the greatest driver but still managed a 13.6 we put our hot shoe in the car and he went 13.34 The car was bone stock with 700mi on it. GreenbeanZ28 03-18-2004, 03:16 PM Theres a couple in NMRA factory stock running low 12's on drag radials. GreenbeanZ28 03-19-2004, 06:48 AM Pullies, shorty headers, mass air, throttle body, gear.....Drag radials. Not a whole lot, most of us have that kinda of stuff anyways, right? Ask Bob Crosby on here, he's got a damn fast stockish 99 Cobra that runs 11's with just bolt on's. | ||
