OK, i pop the clutch some times and the tires dont spin, the clutch just burns up. Now what do you think the problem is, could it be the hydralic clutch assembly or maybe i just need a new clutch. on rare occations, this has happened 3 times in 4 months, i have been driving the car hard and i will push in the clutch to stop at a stop sign or light and when i engage in 1st the clutch doesnt grab, the rpms just keep going up, so i have to stop for a minute and the the car engages again. WTF is going on?!?!?! Any input would be great.

Sounds like the clutch disc is burnt up/worn out. You'll need a new one, and why replace when you can upgrade? I went to a SPEC stage 3 and LOVE it. Just be careful...if you get too good a clutch and too much traction you'll grenade that T-5.

The clutch is from 2001... And it wasn't driven hard. And i was leaning towards the hydralic assembly because it just stops engaging somtimes. when a clutch goes out, isnt that the end of it?

A clutch, when it first begins to have problems, will generally engage fine when it's cold and get progressively worse as the friction disc heats up. It's evry possible that it's a hydro problem, but it sounds to me like a bad clutch.
AS far as blowing up the T-5 and then ditching it for a T-56...............that's what happened to my old 700-R4. :D

Could be a weak pressure plate also.
