I have heard that all to the Skip shift elminator is a resistor, or a transistor... Has anyone made one of these? I can't see paying 15+ dollars + shipping for something I can make for 1 - 2 dollars...

Thanks much,

Clint

Here's a good installation instruction site for the skip shift eliminator

Under the main menu, click on "Install Documents".
Then scroll to the bottom of the page under transmissions.

There are two links that mention CAGS (skip shift). One is done with a resistor from Radio Shack. The other is done with a small harness that you can purchase at many speed shops.

I think it is a 2kohm resistor. LS1 Tech is more aplicable for this type of question though. I will move it there.

Please also check out the link in my sig, Thank you.
