Rearend Help.

how much would it cost me for a brand new Eaton Posi and new 3.73 gears? what would be the best thing to do. i have 650$ to spend. but i dunno. ive been looking for a new rearend or a used posi for over a month. and its just starting to piss me off. im very impatient. itd be a daily driver so i don't want to high gears. i think 3:73's would be good.. whats a good posi to go with?
how much time would posi and gears knock off on my 1/4 time. i have a limited slip 3:23 right now

1967 Camaro SS stock. runs 15.23 @ 91.3 mph... not to bad considering im a 16 year old pizza boy.

If you've already got a "limited slip" rear, you've got a "posi"..... Positraction is just GM's name for a limited slip rear. You could pick up a set of gears and an install kit for $300-350. Cost another couple hundred for a good install.

As far as the cost of a new Eaton, try the vendors like Summit or JEG's, or anyone who advertises in the popular Chevy mags... DTS, Randy's, etc.
