Should get mine any day now and I was just wondering how they look how they fit etc. I hear everyone saying pacesetters are the best bang for the buck, but I just dont think to many people have the Flow Techs yet.

Any one installed Flow Techs yet??99blackz99 03-05-2004, 10:57 PM Should get mine any day now and I was just wondering how they look how they fit etc. I hear everyone saying pacesetters are the best bang for the buck, but I just dont think to many people have the Flow Techs yet. LS1999PewterZ 03-05-2004, 11:34 PM YES The Flow Techs are a really good headers, I did get the coated ones the quality is good. For the welds that is hard to say for all the flow tech headers out there, but for mine all the welds were sealed up. The fittings all I had to remove is the oil dipsick and the trans cross member to fit the drivers side header up. But that is really it. The passenger side was easy it slid right into place, no starter removed nothing just the dipstick to get to the header bolts. If you have anymore questions let me know sic-v6 03-06-2004, 12:40 AM I ordered a set about a week ago. They will go on asap when i get them! Where did you guys order them from? Did they include the O2 extensions? Im going with true duals dumped before the axle. I also have a set of 3.73s to go in.. Cant wait till summer  LS1999PewterZ 03-06-2004, 01:16 AM I got the hole package from Speed Inc. it came with gaskets, hardware and O2 extensions, and in this package you get o2 sims ;) 99blackz99 03-06-2004, 01:27 AM I got mine from Tbyrne, they were 10% off. Do you know what tools were neede for the install? I want to get anything I might not have. LS1999PewterZ 03-06-2004, 06:34 PM The two things that came in handy was a 10mm and a 13mm ratcheting wrench and then you are going to need a 7/8 wrench for the o2's, but there is alot you are going to need so beware. If you run into problems or need a question answered just ask ;) mullettour 03-06-2004, 11:41 PM Originally posted by LS1999PewterZ YES The Flow Techs are a really good headers, I did get the coated ones the quality is good. If you have anymore questions let me know I saw a picture of these on another site and one of the primaries had a dent in it. It looked like it was for clearance or something. I was wondering if yours had a dented primary too or if the one I saw was dented in shipping. LS1999PewterZ 03-06-2004, 11:48 PM It is clearance for the k-member so you don't have to grind it down, so yes that is normal if you see a dent on the drivers side header ;) | ||
