Hey guys, We have been driving this camaro with the built engine for a couple of years now and while it runs pretty good, it's not as good as we think it could be. Right now it makes around 375 hp at the rear wheels and nearly 400 ft/lbs of tq starting from 2000 RPM. It's a great engine, but there are some drivability problems. There is a lot of cam surge below 2500 revs and it's running very rich.

The ECU was sent out to Ed Write for some adjustments, but here is my questoin.

Is this the best way to go?

What other options do we have.

Thanks,
Steve

give jeremy a call at faster proms. he is in tampa and is extremly good at tuning. you can either do a street tune or dyno tune, your choice. his number is 813-253-0961 and his website is www.fasterproms.com. let me know if you go with him and how it works out.

That is the best advice you could get.
If you don't want to buy the software needed to do the tune yourself, find someone local that will do it. Much better than any mail order tune. :)

I agree. He seems like a nice guy and seems to know what he's talking about.

And only less than 3 hours away, that's not too bad.

Thanks guys,
Steve
