Wow someone got their panties in a knot. We spoke about this a few days ago brokenz and I have your rockers all boxed up and ready to ship out.

I e-mailed you quite awhile ago and I NEVER heard back from you. You even said yourself that you even forgot that you bought these rockers from me. Don't even try to say that I've been holding on to your money without ever sending these out. I reaplied to you the other day apologizing and told you it was a simple mix up. If you would have just responded to my e-mail i sent "months" ago this would have never happened.

cause i seriously didn't think he sent his shipping address in the paypal receipt so there was nowhere for me to send them...plus he never responded to any of my e-mails which I thought was strange...

How long was I supposed to wait this time? You got your money and Paypal sent you an email notifying you of this with my email addy and physical address. Even if some electronic gremlin stole it, do you now deny that you didn't have my physical address on the 22nd? I think you are pissed because I messed up some of your sales at ls2 and now delaying shipment. Just send them already.

I tried to be nice about this but we are past that point now. Just send the rockers or give me a refund. I will also post in the morning the thread from another forum where you tried to sell the same rockers. Try and paint a pretty face on that.

If you don't want me bad mouthing you then give me a tracking number. Post it publicly for all to see. After that we will have no other business.

Faceless, I have contacted you by letting it be known to you publicly in recent weeks that I would like my parts already. I linked the thread once already where you even acknowledged that you have my money. Once you've got my money then I shouldn't have to hound you for my parts. You promised that you would send them out ASAP on the 22nd. I took you at your word again and still have not recieved the parts or a tracking number. Keep in mind that you've had my money much longer than this and even attempted to sell the same parts on another board.

Yes, I know what you are saying but it is no longer a "warning", it is now just a back and forth argument. Now it has evolved a bunch of bickering and involving threads on other sites. That is not going to solve anything and should be taken to private e-mail or to the authorities.

Agreed. I should have just made the point that he was attempting to sell the item again at another site and that was what led to all of this in the first place. I've said all I have to say unless I don't recieve my item or a tracking number soon. And I didn't want to threaten to contact his local authorities but I guess it's possible I may have to do so. I'll leave this thread alone except to check for responses from FacelessZ. If I actually ever recieve the rockers then I'll also post so here if that is what he'd like. I'm not trying to ruin his name or anything like that. I only want my money or what I have paid him for.

This is not the same thing. He recieved a confirmation email from paypal. Included was a link to the original thread, a description of what was being bought, and my home address. I don't see how you can compare this to what you are talking about.

I've sold many things on the board and I've had no problems receiving shipping addresses. If yours was included I would have had it and you would have had your rockers by now. I have had one measly week to get these out to you since we've last talked, which is enough time I do understand, but I have had other things going on in my life as well aside from this...

Your rockers will be out in the next day or two so relax and start watching the mail...

I know this is an old thread, but it's time to resurrect it.

I sent Doug Moore (FacelessZ) $180 back in April, for an Alpine amp. The check was deposited on 4/17/04. After waiting several weeks with nothing, I began to get concerned, and *finally* I hear from Doug that supposedly he mailed the amp, and it got returned to him as "address unknown". Now, I get 4 or 5 packages a week, delivered to my home, by all of the major carriers -- UPS, FedEx, and USPS. None of them have a problem finding my house.

Fast forward to June or so... Doug then suggests trying to ship to a different address (I'm starting to get suspicious at this point that he's just stalling). I give him my work address, where we get 10-12 packages per DAY. It's right at a fairly busy intersection, anybody could find it.

After waiting a few weeks and getting nothing, and my incessant questioning, Doug says that he sent it via USPS, but didn't get a tracking number "because he was in a rush".

When the amp doesn't show up (hard for it to show up when it was never sent, eh?), Doug says he's going to just give me my money back. OK, great, works for me, I don't even NEED the amp anymore at this point.

It's now several weeks later, and after he promised he was going to put a few dollars into my paypal account, and send the rest by check, I have nothing. Not a cent. I'm tired of pussyfooting around with this, 4 months after I sent the money, I think I deserve some satisfaction one way or another.

Good luck buddy. I had to chase him to different sites to ever get my rockers. I just posted a thread in another forum that I know a personal friend of his frequents. I can't believe that he still does this kind of stuff. He fails to realize what a small world we live in and that some of us know people that know him personally. He has no anonymoty online. I'll let you know if my buddy contacts him and then we'll see if he answers this thread.

Just did a quick check at another site. He has this... somnambulist81@hotmail.com listed as an email addy. His AIM and Yahoo info is the same though.

Just to let you know, I just sent him a PM at another site that he still appears to be active at and at a third site my friend has let me know that he is going to ask him about it. I'm out till later.

Doug is still on this site and is using this name : Somnambulist

Thanks all for the assistance, keep me posted if anyone hears anything, I'll reply to this post with my progress, and a resolution if one ever occurs.

I spoke to a lawyer and found that if Doug sold me the parts with no previous knowledge that they werent new then I have no case. If he refuses to do what is correct may I suggest you contact his local police. I believe he has a charge pending and may not want additional problems with them.

Quick update:

I have just gotten $50 back from Doug, for a total of about $55 out of the $180 I sent.

I'll post any further updates, hopefully he comes up with the other $125.

Its very strange when you buy something from a person how all of a sudden,they go on vaction,someone dies in the family,lost their house,parts are missing,always an excuse,but they had no trouble cashing the check the same day as they received it driving right by UPS!
I wouldn't buy anything off this site if you sent it to me first and I got to try it for a month,then sent the money to you!

There are no excuses,cash the check the part is no longer yours,don't send it and that makes you a thief.
