Here are some pics of the custom twin fuel pump assembly I put in my car last spring. I lost the disc with the pictures and luckily Lonnie still had them as I had "E" mailed him my setup. Thanks dude ;)
I'm running twin 255 LPH high pressure Wal-Bro fuel pumps (340's) with the second pump coming on under boost via a hobbs switch. Both pumps connect to a "Y" and then up to a -8 feed line, then it "Y's into each side of the back of the fuel rails with a return bung welded into the front drives side fuel rail and then to a Weldon boost sensative fuel pressure regulator and then -6 line back to the tank.

that looks sweet man. My only question is if you have a one way check valve on the secondary pump so the primary does not force fuel back through it and into the tank. there may be one on the pump itself but if not i might consider this if you have not already.

That's exactly what I want... was there anything difficult with the setup, or is it just assembling the fittings? How is the fitting that goes throught the top sealed? How much gas do you think you need to have in the tank so that having no bucket isn't a problem?

The fuel pumps have a built in check valve.
It wasn't hard to put together, just time consuming and some test fitting to make sure it would all fit through the opening and still be able to bend into position.
I don't recall what type of goop we used to seal up the fitting that goes through the tank cover.
I don't think straight line acceleration will be a problem with low gas altough I do intend to keep a decent amount in it (1/2 tank) when I start racing and will probably keep it from getting much under 1/4 tank just to be on the safe side.

cool... wish you'd have made up a second one while you were at it.

Hi Marc
cool fuel pump setup man. And that is exactly what I am going to do next couple of weeks. Shalin refused to tune my car unless I add a 2nd feed line. He told me that he did the twin fuel pumps with 2nd feed line on his (sold) supra dynoed 756rwhp and have no fuel related problem. My car have a 255lph intank and 255lph inline this is running on the stock fuel line.
I am going to plumb the 2nd feed line with 255lph fuel pump intank with -6AN line connect to the driver side rail with a weld bung. and the stock return line are leave a lone. Shalin says he did not have any fuel return problem on his supra.
