OK first of all does anyone know if Route 66 is open in March around the 20th? What do you have to do to get in? What safety equipment is required? Me and a friend just want to go on a Saturday to have some fun, but neither of us have gone before. Thanks much!

Don't know about 66.

As for safety equipment (depends on how fast your car is) probably just a helmet.

14.00 & up: nothing

12.00 to 14.00: helmet

12.00 & under: lots of stuff

Thats the info for tracks in my area.

Looks like April 17th is the first day and it will set you back $25.

Although I didn't really hunt for an opening time. You could probably call that day to see when they open. Or it may be listed elsewhere...
