Checksum ? from Lt-1 Edit

I changed the injector size, tire and gear on lt-1 edit for obdII. When I clicked on the checksum the ebank was not correct. I clicked the "fix sum" button and everything was fine then.

My question is should I be concerned? What does the fix sum button correct?
