will an auto x ray perform basically the same functions as a scanmaster will? also is there any difference in the handheld units and the cd program units? the particular one i am looking at is a handhel unit and Im trying to make sure it will work for what i want it for. I need it to figure out what my fuel curves are so i can adjust with a MAF translator. is this what i need? thanks

The standard Auto Xray OBDII scan tool only does the generic stuff. You would have to get the enhanced software to really do a good job.
