stock cassette to cd swap

I have a 97 camaro with the 10 speaker system and a factory cassette player. I need a cd player, but I'm not sure exactly which cd player will work. The cassette plaey doesn't say Monsoon or Bose. Will either of these work, or not. I'm lost, help me. Also, if anyone knows where I can get one, let me know. Tank you.

my 98Z had the same setup, I Installed a Pioneer Premier cd player with no problems, any cd player will work:)

can I use a monsoon or bose cd player. I would rather use one of those because of looks. I had a 99 s-10 with the same looking radio, would one of those work??

The problem you may have is the monsoon system had a amp as part of the system and you may not, thus I don't know how good it would sound, and if you get a amp the speakers are not strong enough. For what you will pay for a stock cd you could get a decent aftermarket one. I swaped to a 9 series poineer and some speakers in my 97 and am very havy. With the install kit looks nice.
