Can I please borrow somethings for the Hot Rod drags?

Well in the rules they specifically said that I need all 4 dot approved tires. I have the backs covered but the fronts are DS2's. These are not DOT approved tires. I would like to trade someone for the month of April if that would be possible. I need to check the tire diameter and I'll let you know.

Also I'd like to borrow a 15# nitrous bottle if possible. I normally run 10's and have more than enough of those, but I feel that a 15 will be better for the 3 runs back to back. This I'd like to borrow for the month of April also. I really want to have the car completely setup for the race. I'll gladly leave you with a couple of my 10's if needed.

Thanks,
Roman

I have both. I think I can get by without the tires, they are 165 metric x 15, and in great shape.

The bottle, 15 lb NOS, super high flow, with the guage. I'm presently putting together the brackets up on the hump. I would like to get to the track as soon as it opens, but might be able to let it go for a few weeks. Do you have to have one for the whole month?

The tires you can use, the bottle I'll have to think about.

I have a pair of Weld Drag Lites with metric radials on them. The rims are 15 x 3.5 I think. I also have a pair of Centerline Convo Pros but I don't remember what tire is on them. If either will work for you, you can borrow them. I don't have the center caps for the Drag Lites.

If your running Center line Warriors you'll want to match your rears,I'll loan you my fronts. They also are the metrics that everyone else is replying with. About 400 miles of driving on them so there fresh. This size measures in at 25.8 tall

Wow, thanks for the responses guys.

I am not in that big of a hurry, hence the 1.5 months still till racing starts. But I thought that I'd try to set something up ahead of time.

I am running weld draglites. I would like to try and keep them the same. You know, for the magazine wheels up shots.

Harold, I would be trading for the rims/tires and the bottle. I would gladly let you use my tires (25x4.5x15 DS2's) with rims (weld draglites) and a couple of my 10# bottles. I would like to have the stuff for the whole month so that I can make sure that what I take to Memphis will work and I know what I can expect from them.

94_Z28_ragtop, if you could find out in your leisure what size the tires are that would be great.

Kevin Thanks. Off to see Andre? Why may I ask. You want a swing set for the car?

Push comes to shove, I'll buy the stuff. It's not that expensive to buy those items. Well at least compared to this winter's purchases so far.

Thanks alot guys.

Roman

Yes, I do get kind of a warm and fuzzy feeling. Or is that the burito I had for lunch coming back up?

The Weld's have Kelly Metric 165R15's on them. The Centerlines say "LEE Steel Trak Radial" on them. They are also 165R15's. Eyeball measurements with a tape measure came out at 25" diameter for both and both have plenty of tread.

If you are wanting the Weld Drag Lites, the last time they were on the car it rained so they need polished if you want them to look pretty come picture time! And you'd have to supply your own center caps because I still haven't gotten mine from James (IndyZ28) yet.

The good news is if you want to borrow them I won't need to borrow yours since I have a full set of Convo Pro's and only fronts for the Welds.
