$1200 for suspension mods

Whats the best way to go at it to make my car handle really well. I dont mind getting slightly used parts to save a bit of cash and fit more into my budget. Thanks in advance.

$419 - Ground Control Coil Overs and springs front and rear, rear adj perch

$148-$199 - Front Bar 35mm solid ST bar or Sam's new hollow bar (save some weight)

$440 - SA Koni's in front
$161 - Bilstein HD rear
------
$1168

Splurge, get a T2R diff too... $525. I'd change the front bushings, get an adjustable panhard rod (with good rod ends). You can always do LCA's and brackets, different K member, and on and on. AND, of course, this is simply an opinion, nothing more.

Call Sam Strano when he gets back in town (rough life Sam!! ) and get his advice.

i would say subframe connectors first...that way the suspension isn't fighting the inherent flex in the car.

beyond that...springs of your choice, koni shocks or bilsteins, panhard bar and some good tires

He's already got subframe connectors.

I'll tell you what, you install subframe connectors, I'll install sway bars and let's take them out and run them and see who's quicker. I'll lay money on the sway bars. Put your money where the performance enhancements are.

I agree with the swaybars before the subframe connectors. I put on BMR boxed SFCs and it didn't make any noticable difference in terms of handling. Then I put on 1LE 32/21mm swaybars and wow!! Big difference. I'm going to get Sam Stranos 35mm hollow bar next.

I had a chance to see and feel the hollow bar last weekend. Held the solid in one hand and the hollow in the other, noticable difference in weight. Sam had one on his car and he said he couldn't tell any difference between the solid and hollow in terms of handling.

i agree that the bars give more noticable feel that the sfc.

but for $140 how can you go wrong?

i noticed minor gains on the curves, but in general over uneven road and things like that...the sfc were very noticable...granted i have ttops.

and sorry that i didn't notice he had them already.

i love my 32/21mm solid bars from BMR

That's good news! i just ordered the 35mm hollow from them, but didn't get to talk to Sam since he was still on the road

Yes, single adjustable. It has one adjustment for rebound only.
