ASAP: EGR pipe removalcoogsLS1 02-18-2004, 05:15 PM does this throw a code? mullettour 02-18-2004, 05:41 PM Unless its tuned out. coogsLS1 02-18-2004, 05:57 PM I want to remove the pipe but dont want to spend big $$ to get ls1 edit or something...other ideas? mullettour 02-18-2004, 06:06 PM I dont know, but maybe you could remove the pipe and plug the exhaust and intake manifolds, leaving the egr valve itself in place. I dont know if you did that if it would throw a code or not. 2001NBMZ28 02-18-2004, 06:08 PM Since you have a '98 it might not. I tried removing the air pump fuse on mine and immediately got a P0412 code. Try removing the fuse and see what happens - you can always stick it back in there. coogsLS1 02-18-2004, 06:16 PM ok ill do that, when a code is thrown, you can tell be setting the SES light right? mullettour 02-18-2004, 06:28 PM 2001nbmz28-egr and the air pump are 2 different systems. If you have a 2001 you dont have an egr valve. coog-you would know if you got a code because your ses light would come on. 2001NBMZ28 02-18-2004, 11:22 PM Opps, my bad - I was thinking !AIR. :o | ||
