last night some ricer got broken into within throwing distance of where i park my car. this is either the 4th or 5th car broken into within the last two weeks within 50 yards of where i park my car.
its starting to get out of control. last night when i walked up to my apartment at about 11pm there was a cop circling in the parking lot on patrol, even checked my car to make sure i didn't break into it, and they STILL broke into this ricer's car. i've been taking all of my stuff that holds any value up to my apartment every night for the last two weeks but i'm still afraid they might smash the windows just to see what they can find hidden.
the only thing that the apartment complex has done is put out flyers that basically say lock your doors. i know this is good information because i do know they go around trying to find unlocked cars as i hear them setting off car alarms sometimes in the middle of the night, but obviously if they see something or think they see something they'll smash your windows regardless.
is there anything that can be done to get the apartment complex or the seminole county sherrif's office to do something more about this? what they are doing right now is clearly not good enough.
