F/S: Rims/tires

These rims/tires currently reside on my convertible. The rims are Borbet Type M in 17" x 9". They are nearly perfect, have no curb rash and other than a couple small scratches on the inner part of the rim, they are clean. The tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE71 w/ 85% tread life left. Tire size is 275/45. I'm asking $750 for the set.

Yes, that is the email address I sent them too. Maybe they were too big for hotmail? They were 500k each. I'll either resize them and send them or I'll resend them in seperate emails if you haven't recieved them.

I sent only one picture this time so that might help. I also sent it to both the accounts you have given me. Hopefully you'll get it at one of them.

BTW - Westland is near Detroit. I'm about 5 miles away from Detroit Metro Airport.

The rims look great. I've got a black Z just like that only T-top. I'd like to see them in person sometime if you get a chance. Possibly this weekend or next if you could meet me. Email me and let me know.

Don't need to see them on the car. Just need to see them in person. Wanna get a closer look at the tread and the wheels. Next weekend would be better for me also so that would be fine. I didn't really have any certain place in mind just somewhere a little more in the middle for the both of us. I'm really interested but I probably won't buy them that day though, even if I decide I want them. But if we do end up making a deal I'll just come back down and get them the second time. Big Rapids to Westland is kind of a haul for each of us even if we meet half way. If you just want to check them out before you make a decision, do you know someone on this side of the state that you would trust to check them out for you? I know a lot of the people on here and could meet someone or have them come over and check them out.

If you are seriously considering them we could probably work something out to meet somewhere next weekend if necessary, though. I can't say as I'd blame you for wanting to see them in person before buying, I just wish you were closer! :)

Yeah I wish we were closer also. I'll try to see if I can set something up with someone that lives closer to you. If not we'll just try and meet up sometime when I get the cash together. That's if you haven't sold them already. I'll keep in touch for sure.

Come on Jay, those wheels would look sweet! Besides, I also have Bridgestone RE730's in that size, and paid $150 a tire for them. So, that's probably $510 (*0.85) worth of rubber there. It sounds like a deal to me.

If I'm not mistaken I paid around $1150 for the set when I bought it from tirerack.com including delivery. The rims were about $160 ea. and I got a good deal on the tires at about $120 ea. and delivery was like another $40 total. Whoever buys them is getting a pretty nice discount considering how good of shape they are in!
