the great option code mystery?

on my 2k w68 firebird, i have the option codes gu6, and g80 on my drivers door, but nowhere on the little sticker does it say y87? i was wanderin why i would have them options without havin my door say y87? did gm make v6 f bodies wit the performance package without having the y87 on their door on in the glovebox?

lots were made that only had the 3.42's (gu6) and the posi(g80) without the y87 code, the ones with y87 also had duel exit exhaust

i kinda figured some where made without the codes on the door sayin y87. thanx dude

no problem :cool:, oh and the y87 also got the better steering ratio that is in the v8's
