1992 b4c camaro

OK smart fellow 3rd gener's.....

What would you say a 1owner 92 b4c with 4000 miles is worth....Im guessing 15K but I wanted to pick the brains of some other guys before I write a check.....

id think its worht 15....but dont tell him that. offer 12 then start from there...chances are youll get it less then 15

also dont seem tooooo excited about it, the seller will see that and wont budge during negotiation..you have to act as if there is another one right down the block your looking at

Just remenber it a car, no matter if its a B4C with low mileage.
Just don't pay the price the seller seller is asking and don't go overboard in what you pay.;)

well, ive owned alot of 3rd gens....im just trying to look into future and think of what cars are gonna be worth dollars.....i dont plan on paying 15k....but thats kinda what i figure its worth.....i figure with the rarity of a 1992 police package that has been documented owned by private owner and has low miles will possibly be worth some $$$$ in 10-20 years.....ive thought about 1989 turbo ta as well.....does anyone have access to value of this car???

If you're contemplating to spend $12-15k on a third gen, why not find a turbo trans am??

spending $15k on a special edition turbo trans am is much more justifiable than $15k on a regular old B4c police package 3rd gen with low mileage:rolleyes:

well, ive already got a fast 3rdgen....im just looking at what can make me the most money.....i agree a turbo ta would also be possible wise investment....but historically speaking camaros seem to hold value better......just my opinion....but keep the commenst coming....

If you thinking about making any money on that B4C RPO option
car forget about it. As I see it now the only one making any money is the seller of that 14yr old car and if he is the original owner, his investment also isn't that great. Own the car for for 14yrs with only 4000 miles. Did he enjoy that investment??? I don' think so.:eek:

throw 6k at a nice iroc then go to the casino and throw 6k on red.
youll get a nice car to drive, youll have just as much fun and just as much of a chance of a return in the investment.

Cars make poor investments. If you are the owner of a Corvette ZR1 and didn't sell before the Z06 was released, you just lost several thousand dollars, or more. The Z06 does everything as well or better (except about 4 mph of top speed) and is a better package. The Z06 caused the ZR1's to lose any value they had started to accumulate.

I once talked to a Shebly GT350 owner that was happy to get $50,000 from his Shelby and told me of "all the money he made". Mind you, this car was about $4500 new (I can't remember exactly) and was bought by the same type of guys that bought corvettes then, and now. People with $50,000 (these days, $4500 then) to spend. I tried to tell him that he actually sold the car for about what he paid for it when new. The good news is, he didn't lose any money, but he really didn't make any either. He lucked out and broke even.

I love 3rd gens. I don't see anything that I would pay much money for now (except an '89 Turbo TA) and I think it will be even worse in a few years.

I currently own a 2002 Z28, "the last ones". I don't expect it to be worth anything in a few years, or it would be in my garage under a cover for the next 20 years. Maybe in 20 years, I'll get about what I paid for it (after inflation), so I'm not inclined to bother.

However, these are just my thoughts.
