Is it just me or does that sound like a loud, pissed off chainsaw. Doesn't seem to good.

Wasn't that just for LS1's and LT1's with an adaption kit? I didn't see anything that said it would mount on V6's. I havn't heard much other aftermarket exhaust sound clips but in my oppinion, low revs... bad@$$ , High revs the screaching nearly burst my eardrum, sounded like a lawnmower on weed... Thanks for the clip.

Sorry to tell you guys but that was not a V6. It sounded more like an Lt1. I can tell you that I do have the Loudmouth system on my 02 V6 and it sounds pretty good. Until you get into higher RPM's it sounds like a V8, but then becomes destictively V6 sounding.

I thought that was an V8... you can look on the rest of his page, on his "My Car" section and he even noted the specifications, he said it's an LT1...

It's a ragtop T/A... sounds nice though :D
The 3.4 does sound similiar to that at lower RPM's but once it hits ~3K RPM's it's over.
If it's warm and sunny tomorrow I'll try to get a few video clip's of my friends '97 Firebird with a Dynomax exhaust.

For the guys that said the soud clip was a V8 you guys were right. But the reason for that is the guy was updating his page and took out the soud clip of the fire firebird w/ the loud mouth and now he has put it back on so for the people that couldnt hear the firebire before can now hear it. Its on the bottom of the page.

I think I have the end all solution!!!!!!!
For over a year I've been looking at all the V6 exhaust threads that are posted up. Most people are looking for a V8 sound in a V6 and that is not going to happen people unless................
1) You have other mods (cams, headers etc...) horsepower equals to bigger sound in a V6
2) Your running a turbo or supercharger
3) people start experimenting with other brand mufflers!!!!!!!!!!
It'ls like you guys are at the doorway but wont walk in!!! I've had flowmasters on all my V8's and they are props. Any flowmaster will make any V8 sound like it's running hard when it's really not. From 305's to 350's it's the same. I've also owned glasspacks and turbos. turbo muffler (what comes on stock Z28's and in flowmasters) would sound decent on my 2000 V6, but I'm thinking about adding an "Ansa" system with 2 1/4 pipes. The reason for this is because Ansa id what ferrari uses on all it's cars. I've been hearing them for as long as i can remember, but recently thought about it for my 2000 Camaro.
What we want from our cars is a sporty, exotic type sound that compliments it being a V6, not a 80 series 3 chamber flowmaster that will never sound good until you finally break down and buy that supercharger or turbo. I heard the exhaust on the firebird clip and was like "here we go again" it's the same sound as a 40 series flowmaster which is cheaper and a factory hook-up, and still sounds exactly like a V6, except at idle (which is not cool).
So start looking beyond the box people, you might find yourself on the import side of the fence. Thats probably the reason no one has solved this problem, no one wants an import muffler "associated" with their camaro. But if I'm the one to do it and it sounds like a porshe coming down the street "dont be hatin"
