is that hood necesary for that setup? If it isnt i would change it. From what i can tell in the pics your car inst one of those 7 sec cars that you see on the track and in my opinion that hood belongs ONLY on those type of cars. Not street cars but thats just my opinion

Hood just seems unecessary and since you still got salad shooters on it I woulda spent the hood money on some welds

IMO

Ok here's the deal.

1-The salad shooters are on for my winter tires. (I hate them)The car is my daily driver. I have ZR1 rims for the summer. I have a company truck that I'm aloud to take home, so the car is used after that.

2-I somewhat agree that the hood belongs on a Pro stock car, but I don't want it to look like everybody elses cars with the limited hoods that are available to us. I mite shave the hood down some in the spring.

3-I know that some of you may not care for the hood and that's ok, but again, I want the car to be different looking. The way I see it, dare I say... look at all those ricers out there with all there crap. Big exhausts, tall wings etc. My stuff is fully functional.

4-I plan on adding a lot more horses etheir via N2o or more boost.

5-One day, when I finally get a nice home for the car I plan on turning it into a show car. Who knows, I might do away with the hood and do something completely different.

6-I don't follow the current trends. I like to do things that are different. We've all been to car shows and you see the F-Bodies, most of them use the same aftermarket parts. Some cars have a couple of them and some have a lot of them. Again just trying to be different. Don't get me wrong I like the looks of the stuff, but it's not for me. And you guys do have some really nice looking cars.

7-What you see on the car might be changed in the future, I like to experiment with different things and it's not just the hood.

Just so you know, I'm not bashing your opinons and I thank you for them. I posted this thread for this very reason. Again keep posting your comments good and bad.

Car would look good with some draglites and slicks. It looks funny with the salad shooters on there, they need to go! Nice work on the engine, I would have stuck with just red and black and left out the blue but like you said you want to be different and it came out pretty clean, good job.

Yeah, tell me about it.
Hey, you do what you gotta do to get around in the winter!

Anyway, with the car looking the way it does and kind funny looking, I feel sorry for the poor sap who takes me on in a race!

Good on you for being different.

When I first looked at it - I was taken back for a second.
I didn't know what to think.

I doesn't look bad...........I wouldn't do it to my ride - but I admire your courage for having a unique car.

I think your functional ram air intake for a blower is awsome.
