The power wire for the horn in the steering column must be freyed or something. Whenever you turn the wheel even slightly the horn goes off, and its impossible to shut-up.

Picture this, i was outside at 10:30 last night, unhooking the battery, crawling up under the car. I had to find the horn, take the bottom front corner of the car apart to get to it, unplug it, and then i put the ground back to the battery, and it still goes off, becuase lord knows GM had to put two horns on this thing, so i crawled back up under there and fumbled around until i got the other one unplugged.

Now the horn doesn't work at all since it is unplugged, but when you turn the wheel you can here a clicking sound comming from the dash. Like a relay tripping or a fuse or something clicking. I guess its because when you turn the wheel its getting a ground to sound the horn, but the horn just isn't plugged up. Where can i cut the power to the horn wires before they get to the steering column. I never use my horn anyway, i just want this clicking madness to end.

if its a 90-97 camaro the wire is black in a black connector located at the base of the steering column which is a - output, its its 98+ it should be a black wire in a blue connector at the BCM. you could try clipping it and capping each end of the wire off and see if that helps. Let us know.

So the horn's power goes from the bcm, to the steeringwheel, and out to the actual horn itself?

the black wire that comes from the column is the horn trigger wire if you just cut it and tape or cap off each loose end you shouldnt get any response if the horn button is pressed.
